Graduate Instructor

2019 - 2023, University of Arizona Sky School, Tucson AZ,
Lead groups of middle- and high-school students in an outdoor, inquiry-based science environment in the Santa Catalina Mountain Range.

Co-Leader
2018 - 2023, Prison Geology Education Program, Arizona Department of Corrections, Florence AZ
Develop curricula and organize science education outreach efforts to Arizona prisoners. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, classes have been designed and implemented online.


Students Taking Advantage of Research (STAR) Mentor
2020 - 2021, University of Arizona & Southern Arizona Research, Science and Engineering Foundation (SARSEF), Tucson AZ
Mentored a high school student one-on-one to develop scientific questions, conduct original research, and present at the SARSEF Science and Engineering Fair in March 2021. The student's presentation won 7 awards and a $400 prize.
